why Stripp?
The question should be why not?!
A pizza strip is what we called this RI style Italian bakery pizza growing up. It was also referred to as 'bakery pizza' and 'party pizza'.
A pan of bakery pizza “strips” on the table meant something was being celebrated. You were headed down to the beach. A game was on. Company was coming over. Or you just wanted a delicious and quick meal. That’s the magic we want to bring to every customer we meet.
Also… we like to have a little fun. Our double-P in the name “Stripp.” is a cheeky nod to our family name, and a reminder not to take life — or pizza — too seriously.
